In case you didn't know that is what today is.
I didn't know there was such a day until I looked on my calendar!
Well I have spent alot of time on here this morning, doing lots of changes
I added about 6 more links and changed some minor looks to some things
Lets see if you can find them! *grin*
I am still needing to get some more pictures. Hopefully the weather will hold
out for me to do that.
I hope everyone agrees with the changes. I think they are an improvement .

Well I guess it has been 20 days since I have worked on here
Time sure flies!!
I went out yesterday and got a few more snap shots of some of the
business's and got them loaded on here.
They are: Auto Collision,Lenita's,The Post Office,
I did get a few more but I havn't gotten the web page built for the other
business's.
I also made a "Made in Mountain View" Thought that it would be nice to
show others what is actually made here in our town, so I moved a few things *wink*
Also instead of "special message"it now says Kiowa County.
I would like to be able to list things here about our
Sheriff's Department. Maybe in time we will see.
Well I guess another "Town Wide Garage Sale" is outa the question. We didn't get much
response from it. Maybe next year.

Hey All,
Well I got out and about Thursday Friday and Saturday at the fair and got some good
pictures. They are located under "town events" then Fair pictures. They will take a while
to load so bare with it. I will try to upload a slide show which will make it easier on
everyones computer to load, take note I did say try, ASAP!. Well my cusin and his family
visited our little fair and was well lets say at awws at what a small town fair is all about
but he is from the "Big City" so they were used to the carnies begging for them to play their
games, He mentioned how nice it was not to have something like that. After talking with him
I had realized how safe, friendly,down to earth our fair is, Although I did already know that
but I guess it was a reality check from an outsider looking in. I guess I have had alot of those
since I have been entertaining my family for the month of July and now my cusin.
OK so enough of that and back to the web sight! Sorry I got off track there. :-)
I guess really not much more to say other then the pictures. HAHHAHHAH guess I'm slackin
AGAIN!
Oh ya 1 more thing. There will be some interesting information coming out in the Mountain View

Well from where I was located it sure looked like our little town wide sale
went well!! I hope it will be bigger next year
I didn't get a chance to make it to the other sales except 1
and that was for some GREAT indian tacos! The booster club sure did well
in making them, they were delicious. Sorry for those of you who didn't get a
chance to taiste them, maybe you will some time soon.It sure got hot around noon time
but thats better then getting rained on.
I have been here all morning doing updates and I finally got to delete my email inbox
Sorry it had taken me so long to get those done, but at least they are done,well at least
my email stuff.
Feels like it is going to be a HOT one again today! Hope everyone will try to stay cool
and remember to drink lots of fluids if you are outside! HAAHAHAH(yes ma).

Hey ya'll,
Well I have updated the "town wide garage sale information".It looks like there
is about 17. I will be accepting emails for sales up to Friday. So EVERYONE needs
to be sure to check the list come Saturday mornin before you head out treasure hunting
I think it has turned out pretty good considering this is our first town wide in quite
a while. *SMILE*
As I am sure ya'll know I was entertaining my family that had traveled here to visit
so I had not been doing much to the web sight. They have now left as of today so I
will be back to pounding at the keyboard!
I have also updated the "different families history page. I had received an email
from John Hixon and some pictures of his son-in-law so don't forget to check it out
Other then that not really much going on with the web sight. I will be making some
changes in the future and hopefully now that things have slowed down get some more
pictures on here.

Well I have gotten the registered garage sales listed.
Sorry I did not have time to edit a map and get it on here,
but as you can see when you view where the sales are that you can print
the page! I sure hope the print button works.If it DOES NOT PLEASE let me know
I have gotten a few emails about "some different" families,
that I breifly read threw, I will get to those when my time is
freed up. Along with some other details that I have recieved.
Sure has been HOTTTT sure hope everyone is handling that well.
I know a few out of town folks that the weather is taking a toll on!

Well I read the Lawton paper today and seen our town wide garage sale
listed there! Thanks Jyl! Sure hope that will bring in some people
looking for some treasures. Unfortunatly I didn't get time to read any other
papers, But I am sure they are listed there also!
I am sorry that I have neglected the web sight, but I do have other
priorities right now and as soon as my time is free I will be back
pounding away at the key board.

Hmmm! Now I know that I have in fact worked on the page since the last
date that I wrote here.! Maybe I forgot to give an updated report?!
SORRY!!! Well so maybe I can get everything caught up on what I have been doing!
Here it goes!
I have visited with Rick and took some GREAT shots of the bikes in his shop
WOW is in order there! He has quit a selection. Anyway I got some awsome
photos of some of his bikes to put on his page. I will have to do some cropping
so it will take a little time but I will get them done.
I also took photos of Cambels Garage, The Farmers Co-Op, Post Office,
and the Flower shop. Which same as the bikes they need to be cropped
So in reality I havn't neglected the web sight, I have just been in the field
HaHaHa makes me sound important!
I hope some of you did go by and see the Century Plant and get some photos
of your own. I myself would like to get a measurement height on the plant
Any volunteers?
Well I have some great news for those of you who like to listen! I have
family coming to visit me for 3 weeks. So you will see some new faces in town
My mom Joyce, My step dad Robert, My youngest daughter Devin and 1 of my
identical twin neices Allison. I am so excited for their arrival
They will be leaving on the 10th of July and be here on the 12th
Keep them in your prayers for a safe journey, they are traveling by motor home
I also have a new family in my other home, So I have been busy with that
You know its funny how things get away from you in such little time.
or at least when you not really paying attention. Thats when you need some one to
say HEY dontcha think its getting kindof messy around here! HaHaHa
So anyway
I thought my back yard was OK for visiting but then I walked out there 1 day
and BANG when I looked out it was like a jungle. So needless to say
I am cleaning up my back yard from 3rd street to the south end of my trailer.
So that will take up much much more of my time! but I will try not to neglect
our web sight!
Thanks for the garage sale emails to be place on the map. This is going to be my number 1
priority in the up coming weekend. To get the map on here and sales listed.
I would say look for it on Monday but I dont want to make any promises!

Well anyway I got the 2 min trailer on the Movie page, check it out!
I also got an email tonight from a person in Duncan!
Not only did they notice a typo of a wrong phone number(Cambells Garage) because it was no longer in service
They emailed me to correct the problem and to send them the right number.
So that typo was corrected! (Sorry Travis!)and I sent them the correct number.
Well I hope everyone made it threw the storms tonight and the fires all got put out.

Well I got an email back from 1 of the producers from "The Fun Park movie".
I got permission to put the trailers on our web sight. I also was told that
he was going to TRY to have the movie at the Carnegie Movie house some time in August
I stress the word TRY!!!!! nothing is written in stone!
Also the movie is available nationwide in WalMart and coming soon to RedBox (in McDonald's and Walgreens)

Well looks like I did it again.. Time got away from me. No more excuse's. *grin*. So anyway
I have had votes on the Town Wide Garage Sale. Which is a good thing because now I know that people
are using the web! I have completed "The Fun Park" page. I wish there was more that I can put on there
but because of copy right reasons I have to waite until I hear back from someone on it.

I have been in contact with Brian and he gave me the user name and password to the my space
page he set up for our Free fair so as soon as I can get it completed I will add that link to
our page also.
I guess I am going to have to go to the businesses with a pad and paper to get everyone information
so I can complete the business park of our sight. When I find the time! Anyone got a few hours
they want to give me? hehehehhe.. I will find the time probly later then sooner, but I will get it done.

Ok so it has been awhile since I have wrote in here. WOW time sure has flown by. I don't have a clue where
it flew to. It seems that it was just yesterday that I had visited with Jyl for the news paper.Here it is
almost a week later! I guess the fishing/picnics trips took up some of my time *grin*
Well as you can see I have made some changes and you can see the future links I am hoping to add. If all goes
well and I can get it together (and not loose it this time) the new links will be up and ready for viewing by
the end of this month. I am still at a loss with the history link. I am trying to sort out all the "stuff" that
I am reading. I am still working on that. I got the Fair Schedule listed now for all to view, and I am working out
the kinks on a generic registration form. Brian Pritchard has emailed me some fair photos so I can get those on here.
I would REALLY like to get some old timey photos. If anyone has some that would you like to share that would be great
OH ya I got a interesting email from Apple Valley California. about a gentelman's dad who came to the area in the
1900's when Mountain View was on the North side of the river. I can't waite to hear back from him.
I have gotten
some response off the web sight, and that's GREAT some more out-of-towners would sure be inspiring that all this
work is getting viewed. I appreciate EVERYONE who has helped me with this sight, and those who view it daily it means

Well it is Sunday and I have made some changes to our web sight. I was lended the 100 year old
book of Mountain View that was published in 1999. I went threw there and took some of the information
about some of the business's and added them to there correct links.
I also added our free fair listing to
Wimgo, I did not know it was already listed there until I did a search so now there is 2 listing there.
I know there is a mispelled word for Tolbert Park
but for some reason I can't get into edit it. I'm sure it is a glich in the system, but anyway you can go to Wimgo.com
and type in free fairs in their search and there we will be along with some other fairs through out the state.
I am still working on the history page behind the web sight, Hopefully I will get that done before the end of the month.
There is alot to read in this book.
I noticed yesterday evening that the Horse Sale had drawn a big crowd. There were
horse trailers everywhere. The biggest I have seen in a while. It was great to see that.

First and up most I want to thank the town board for approving me as Mountain View Web Cordinator.
Sorry I haven't been writting in here. I have been coming in making a few changes
then logging off. So lets see if I can get caught back up.
I was asked to add the fry dinner at Saddle Mountain. Then I made contact with
Patty Lack and she told me about an art show, So I got those added.
As some of you know I have had another change in my life. My middle daughter Heather has returned to live with me, So
my time spent this last week on our web sight was limited due to her arrival.
I will make it up this next week *wink*
I have made contact with Wimgo. If you are not familuar with that web sight, It is a Oklahoma base sight
that has a listing of all the up coming events that are going on through out the state of Oklahoma.
So I am in the process of listing our little town free fair. I hope there are no objections. If so please let me know.
There is still LOTS to do to the web sight and lots of ideas running around in my head! Hopefully in the near
future I will be able to get them on the sight.But as the saying goes, "A web sight is never really done just improved"!

I as I had said as soon as I got my car back I would be doing more updates.I got my car back and all seems to
running good. Well except for the fact that I think they messed up my gas gage.It's still on empty!!
I have done some up dates on the web sight. I got the Horse sale information and web sight added
along with the contact page updated. I think I got all the businesses that have store fronts listed.
Now it is just a matter of time in getting the history of each business and town on the web.
I also have added a "weather magnet" to the front page as I am sure you have already discovered. I thought
it is a nice addition. Hopefully we will continue to get this nice weather and I can get some pictures uploaded
to add.
I also got a confirmation email from travelok and we are now officially on their web sight.I also
checked the search engine in yahoo and that is working as well!
I was thinking about adding a register page to the Free Fair but I am needing to contact the board members
for their input just as well, and maybe add 1 for the Alumini for next year registery. I think that would
help accomidate some out of town folks.Tell me what you think?

Well that little rascal did some serious damage underneith my car so it is in Weatherford. Why am I telling you this??

So when I get my car back and lord only knows when that will be I will get back to the business
part of the web sight! The worse part of it all is i didn't even get a hand bag out

I thought I would put in a page that I can type in daily for updates on what has been going on with the web sight.
As I have already told some I am waiting for the "spider" in yahoo to finish crawling through our web sight so we can
be added to that search engine. I am also currently waiting for information about travelok.com. We are listed there
but it gives a brief discription on the town. I would like it to have some of our high lites on it. Like our FAIR!
I am sorry that I have not been getting more info on here. I got a book that shows the history of Mountain View
and lets just say the editing part is one of my slow points :).
As far as the business's I am trying to update them as I get them in. Those that I have recieved THANK YOU!!!

My time is limited, and I talk to businesses as I can, along with individuals!
Here are some goals that I am pushing for this sight. To get the pictures of the business fronts so I can get them loaded to each business
