Mountain View is
located in the South West part of Oklahoma in Kiowa County,along the banks of the Washita River,and in 2004 became a tourist attraction town of the Wichita Mountains Scenic Byway on Hwy 115.

The community is made up of approximatly 800 citizens. It is surrounded by a picture perfect scenery of ancient granite mountains, rolling hills, old homestead sites, wild buffalo and the majestic feeling of country living. 
Some of the residents have grown up here while others moved here to either
raise their family, slow down from the big city life, or to retire
in a peaceful environment.
