Town Clerk/Billing Clerk opening

The Town of Mountain View is now taking applications for a Town Clerk and/or Billing Clerk. Computer knowledge required. Job will consist of, but not limited to, water billing, accounts payable/receivable, assisting with grant writing, handling city court duties, and general clerical duties. Benefits include vacation/sick leave, retirement program, health/dental/vision insurance. Applications can be picked up at Town Hall, 321 Main Street, 580-347-2711 and must be in by 4:30 pm, Wednesday, March 6th, 2024. EOE
Bids for Mowing/Spraying Cemetery

The Town of Mountain View is now taking bids on mowing, weed eating, and care of the Mountain View Cemetery. Bidder must carry general liability insurance. Also taking bids on spraying weeds at the cemetery. Bids must be turned in to City Hall, 321 Main Street, by 4:30 pm Wednesday, March 6th, 2024.
Town of Mountain View PWA receives new backhoe

On October 2, 2023, the Town of Mountain View PWA received a new backhoe, which was obtained through a REAP Grant (SWODA). The grant amount from SWODA was $100,000.00. The backhoe purchase price was $112,970.00, which left the town owing $12,970.00. Thank you to the Town of Mountain View City Clerk, Pat Pearl, for her hard work and persistence in obtaining this grant.
